David Hassan, co-founder of Finsbury, long-time trusted advisor to clients, devoted colleague and friend to many, sadly passed away on Monday March 28th following a short battle with cancer. His loss is deeply felt by family, friends and the Finsbury family.
David was instrumental in establishing Finsbury in the early 1980s and has been tirelessly dedicated to the company ever since. He helped build Finsbury to what it is today, always making clients feel like friends and making colleagues feel like family.
David was a hard working and gifted professional. He brought authenticity, humour and charm to even the most challenging of situations. Moreover, David was generous and soft-hearted, sharing his concern for the welfare colleagues and clients alike. David’s passing is a personal loss to us all.
We are grateful for all the messages of support received from clients and colleagues, many having enjoyed working with David through the decades. David was always devoted and attentive to their needs, serving as a timeless trusted advisor, as well as a true friend when they needed him most. We are humbled to find that our memories of David’s integrity and devotion was shared in the sentiments of those he worked with.
